During on extraordinary members’ meeting, Gianni Lanfranco, an athlete from Piedmont, national and international champion on numerous occasions with the Italian volleyball selection, takes over as president of our association. As president he will be assisted by Franco Frasca, General of the Carabinieri Corps on leave, his collaborator and lover of sports.

Gianni Lanfranco‘s presidency also aims to represent the excellence that Piedmont can boast in the field of sports entrepreneurship. He is the founder and at the lead of Advanced Distribution, which has been marketing sports equipment and apparel for more than 30 years, and he strongly believes in the ability to network among entities, institutions, manufacturing companies, and the education and training system to grow opportunities for innovation and greater competitiveness in the Italian sports ecosystem.

A new stage begins for Sport innovation hub in which the outgoing founder and president Marta Serrano remains at the helm of our activities in the role of Executive Director.

Congratulations and thanks to the newly elected members, who are already immediately at work with the entire Board of Directors to make 2024 a year of great success for the association and the territory in general.
