Attraction and Retention: Building a People Strategy in a Startup

Is there a formula to generate ‘value’ in the short and long term? How do you design and implement an HR strategy that attracts the best resources and retains them, considering the changing context and significant stress experienced in a startup?

In the company of some innovative young companies that have already addressed these issues, the meeting will offer an in-depth exploration of the challenges and opportunities in the field of human resources in a startup and will try to answer questions such as: what does it mean to be a functioning team? What role should a founder play? Are there assessments capable of predicting the functioning and success of a team?

The event is organized by I3P, the Incubator of the Polytechnic University of Turin, in collaboration with W Executive, a headhunting company specializing in Executive Search. The company includes two other brands: W Advisory, dedicated to consulting and organizational development, and WeHunt, dedicated to the search and selection of middle-senior management profiles.

Conducting the meeting will be Laura Cavallaro, Partner at W Advisory, and Simone Suppo, Senior Manager at WeHunt and founder of the Turin office, with the intervention of Andrea Ferrero, Founder and CEO of Young Platform, a startup born in I3P and specialized in the Crypto Fintech world.

How to participate

The appointment is for Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 4:00 PM, in person at the Agorà Room of the I3P incubator, accessible both from the main gate of Corso Castelfidardo 30/A and from the pedestrian entrance of via Pier Carlo Boggio 59, Turin.

At the end of the event, there will be a networking aperitif during which attendees can exchange experiences, questions, and useful advice on the topics discussed.
