UGI ODV – Unione Genitori Italiani contro il tumore dei bambini – was born in 1980 at Regina Margherita Children’s Hospital of Turin to support parents of children suffering from cancer and to offer children and teenagers educational and play activities during hospitalization.

UGI ODV provides financial assistance to families in need, supports families coming from outside Turin providing the accommodation service in Casa UGI near the hospital and contributes to scientific research.

UGI ODV can now rely on constant and active help of 250 trained volunteers. The association’s activities include: family support, research and care support, training and information promotion, psycho-social reintegration in UGIDUE.
