Sloweb is a non profit association, founded in Turin on 29 July 2017. The association promotes responsible use of the web and digital technologies thorugh information, courses and education on opportunities, correct use, and misuse of the web.

The web is a great mean to convey knowledge, information, and store memories. And it has also great potential in providing inclusion for everyone. However, the way the web interacts with our mind and influences our relations in the real world has now greater impact than ever, more so if used inappropriately by companies and governments. The mission of the association is to protect people’s fundamental rights, educate on the effect of the digital transformation on the environment and inform on which are the risks and opportunities of the digital world.

Sloweb aims at making the web a free, fair and safer place for everybody.
