A place “so that no one gets lost”

Piazza dei Mestieri was born in Turin in 2004 as a place of education and aggregation for young people, where it is possible to experience a positive approach to reality, enhancing everyone’s talents. A place “so that no one gets lost”.

The Foundation was created with the aim of preparing young people for work, improving and innovating educational services, focusing on social inclusion policies and the prevention of school dropout.

Every year, around 5000 young Italians and foreigners are welcomed in the Turin, Milan and Catania offices with the aim of learning a craft and finding a job.

Through technical-professional training, work-related learning programs, work and school orientation, study support, cultural, sporting and recreational activities, the aim is to offer a second home to young people aged 14 to 18. Thanks to the business units (restaurant, print shop, brewery and shop) students are welcomed into the education process for real work.

The initiatives proposed by Piazza dei Mestieri aim to propose educational opportunities for the development of skills, abilities and talents. Promoting language acquisition in experiential and daily life contexts for foreign students.

The know-how is made available by the Foundation at both a national and European level, establishing itself as an educational center recognized in the territories in which it is present, collaborating with public and private bodies, investing in the future of young people.
