An evolution of the Carlo Denegri Foundation, founded in 1985, whose aim was to invest in research into rare and re-emerging infectious diseases, today the Foundation, renamed Carlo Denegri Social Venture in June 2019, has expanded its mission: to implement initiatives with a high transformative capacity in society, based on the triad of social impact investing activities, i.e. intentionality, additionality and measurability.

It is a fully operational private foundation, inspired by the model of Anglo-Saxon philanthropic foundations: through entrepreneurial skills, financial capital, technologies and connections it operates in the field of impact investing and philanthropy venture.
