Finpiemonte, as a regional finance agency, assists the Piedmont Region, and its other public shareholders, in the planning of economic policies; it plays a role of conjunction between the credit system, the business world and Public Administration and manages most of the financial instruments and regional subsidies to support the productive system.

Social innovation is one of the priorities of the regional strategy, in the broader framework of the “We.Ca.Re. Welfare Cantiere Regionale ” initiative, for which Finpiemonte offers its technical support.

Furthermore, Finpiemonte is developing a number of transnational projects in the field of social finance and innovation, co-funded by the European Union and aimed at testing innovative financial solutions dedicated to the social economy.
