BIOSFERA Social Cooperative Society Onlus was established on April 5, 2005, by a group of psychologists, pedagogists, and professional educators, with the aim of pursuing the community’s interest in human promotion and social integration of all citizens, with particular attention to families with small children, minors, and people with physical and/or sensory disabilities, and with the intention of being an innovative social driver.
The founding group was therefore highly motivated to work within the cooperative sector, setting the following objectives, which still form the basis of our work today:
- participating collectively in the management of the enterprise
- developing new activities and new projects that, with organizational and financial support, could pursue goals of quality and innovation
- combining professional skills and social motivation to establish the cooperative in the personal services market
- developing the professional skills of members through constant training paths
- adopting tools to prevent any form of gender and/or diversity discrimination and supporting family welfare
- promoting gender equality, diversity, and inclusion by fostering awareness-raising actions, avoiding stereotypes, and promoting the visibility of the contribution of “diversities”
BIOSFERA operates in the territory of turin and the surrounding province offering services aimed at:
