E-formalization in Europe
The purpose of this report is to evaluate “electronic formalisation” in European countries. The blockage and physical distancing measures resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic have led to a decrease in workplace inspections in Europe and an increased use of electronic modes as a complement to traditional workplace inspections. Therefore, the pandemic has made “electronic formalisation” more relevant and relevant, accelerating the trend towards the use of innovative, information-intensive and connectivity-based digital initiatives to address the informal economy.
