Society PIN S.c.r.l. Educational and Scientific Services for the University of Florence, through its research laboratory ARCO (Action Research for CO-development) founded in 2008, offers research services, qualified consulting and training to all organizations that want to have a positive impact on society.

It boasts a decade of experience in Local Development, Social Economy, Inclusive Development, M&E and Impact Assessment and Circular Innovation and Sustainable Commodities and indicates as its strength the synergy between scientific rigor and practical solutions.

It makes use of the skills and experience of economists, statisticians, political scientists, sociologists and commodity scientists who work side by side in a strong interdisciplinary perspective and operates both nationally and internationally.

ARCO also supports the Yunus Social Business Centre University of Florence, the first Italian Centre accredited by the Yunus Centre in Dhaka (Bangladesh), founded by Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus. To date ARCO has worked on more than 300 projects with more than 130 organizations in 37 countries.
