SEED_Social Enterprises, Efficiency&Development

A call for social enterprises that are change players.

Since 2018, the call Seed_Social Enterprises, Efficiency&Development represents one of the lines of intervention of the Compagnia di San Paolo for the construction of policies to promote and support the ecosystem of social enterprises, through the implementation of a chain for development, from their birth to their maturity.

The Seed call aims to increase the impact investment readiness of social enterprises through the design and implementation of development processes – generated within social enterprises themselves and the result of their ideals, experiences and skills – that are able to trigger strategic, managerial and organizational changes. It is aimed at social enterprises that have already developed an idea for development or that feel the pressure to develop new ways of being an enterprise, but often do not have the resources or space to design and implement their own change plan.

Social enterprises that have at least one operational headquarters in the Piedmont region can apply.

The call is divided into two phases:

• First phase: application for the needs check-up and the design of the development plan
• Second phase: support for the implementation of the fully elaborated development plan
