The “P.IN.S – Piedmont innovation for social sector” is a project co-funded under FSE2 Measure of WE.CA.RE, within the POR FSE and FESR 2014-2020.
OBJECTIVES
The project aims to support and accelerate ideas and projects, business development, hybridization of profit / non-profit models, territorial experimentation, effective networking actions between companies and actors providing skills and dissemination capacity, through experts and specialists and the use of PINS (territorial animators with technological and organizational skills).

METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH
The approaches to the project are the following
- To innovate you need to work locally.
- To innovate you need to have a solid knowledge of what others have already done.
- To innovate it is necessary to work on the net in a collaborative logic.
- To innovate you need to be on the market.
- To innovate you need to know how to use new technologies well.
ACTIVITIES
- to collection, at local, national and European level, of ideas, methodologies and innovative projects in a DATABASE, where to convey solutions already tested in other territories or other areas and representing a database freely accessible via the web;
- to make available the ideas contained in the DATABASE through meetings between the Intermediaries (PINS) and the communities or individuals in search of innovative solutions, in a consultative logic;
- to build a NETWORK OF SUBJECTS active in the field of social innovation (individuals, organizations, entities) interested in sharing their projects and spreading the culture of innovation throughout the territory;
- the ANIMATION through PINS, connecting pins of local communities to bring out needs and identify solutions;
- th LAUNCH OF A CALL for the selection of at least 30 innovative projects that provide for the integration between organizational elements and new technologies;
- to provide CONSULTANCY SUPPORT for the development of selected projects in close connection with all the services and initiatives already existing for business promotion and for the development of the third sector.
TERRITORIAL SCOPE
The project takes place in the Piedmont region of Biella, Vercelli, Novara, Metropolitan City of Turin, Verbano Cusio Ossola, Alessandria and Asti with particular attention to internal areas such as Valle Ossola, Valle Bormida, Valli di Lanzo and Maira and Grana valleys.
The activities will also involve the various partner locations in Turin, Cuneo, Alessandria, Domodossola, Novara, Caresana Blot (VC) and Biella.
